Neneh Cherry on going back to her roots with her latest projects.

Neneh Cherry is a Swedish singer-songwriter, rapper, and occasional DJ and broadcaster. Blending hip-hop with other influences, Cherry experienced mainstream success with several of her recordings. She has collaborated with such musical giants as Pulp, Cher, Peter Gabriel, Gorillaz, Groove Armada, and Eric Clapton. In March 2011 she joined the experimental jazz group The Thing, releasing their first album in 2012.

At by:Larm 2013 she was interviewed by Jude Rodgers, journalist for The Guardian. Rodgers and Neneh track through her career, starting at her roots, discussing her transition into mainstream pop music, and ending at her current jazz project.
