Nordic Forum, Reykjavik

The annual Nordic Panorama and its Documentary Forum is the place to be if you’re part of the documentary scene in the nordic countries. Here the seeds of cooperation and business are nurtured, and hopefully yet another sale is fulfilled.

The Festival ambulates between the Nordisk Panorama Host Cities of the 5 Nordic countries, Bergen (2010), Aarhus (2011), Oulu (2012), Malmö (2013), and Reykjavik (2014). AMEHN production has already been present at all of them, and will continue to visit this event in the years to come.

This year the Nordic Panorama took place in Reykjavik, with heitur pottirs in proximity to the venues of the festival. We tried both!

We also hooked up with ZDF and Arte whom screened The Cruellest Journey, and made sure they were informed about our plans for Helge Hjellands next journey – down the Tugela and Orange rivers in South Africa.

With it’s working title; Crossing South Africa by Canoe, our plan is to honor the tradition of river journeys, such as Apocalypse Now, with sending our adventurer down two rivers in South Africa and deliver a ready film in time for the World Cup in Football 2010.

See you next year in Bergen, with a new documentary in our bag.
